Posted on December 26th, 2011 by admin1

Hey, I’m interested in getting a bachelors in political science and advertising. I love them both but I feel like I have to choose one because they’re not really related and it might be hard to double major. A major factor that will affect my decision will be the job opportunities. I feel like I […]

Posted on November 22nd, 2011 by admin1

For instance, currently there is negative adds going out on Palin and Obama. Do these adds backfire and actually help the target rather than hurt? A week ago no one knew who Palin was. Does all this stuff help her name ID? Negatives ads aimed ONLY at very narrow (sorry 43% of voters) category of […]

What is the best way to attract members to a political forum without spending a fortune on advertising?

Posted on September 19th, 2011 by admin1

I’ve recently started a political forum based on the rational debate of political issues in search of the best solution. I’m paying for everything out of my own pockets, which, being a college student, are not exactly overflowing with cash. I’ve established a good bit of discussion with some friends, who are active. I’ve tried […]

Posted on May 31st, 2011 by admin1

Not sure if you’re talking about Australian elections but, if so, here’s a reply I just posted about a similar question. "Hang on everyone. Let’s differentiate between government advertising and party political advertising. If the government ( Federal or State) says " this government is doing this" it’s government advertising which has always been accepted. […]

How do you feel about political figures paying for advertising dollars?

Posted on March 24th, 2011 by admin1

I’m thinking that advertisers are paid to lie to you to buy a product you otherwise wouldn’t. What logic is there in having political candidates and those in office spending money to have slick advertisers spin things to misinform us in order to get our vote? Would our votes then be based on misinformation, with […]

Poll – Will you be happy when the barrage of political advertising stops after Election Day next week?

Posted on February 21st, 2011 by admin1

No matter who you are voting for, it is becoming extremely grating. That is when the Democrats are going to break out the LAWYERS and Challenge the results of any state that they have ‘lost’ (like they did over the past 8 years). (shudder .. it cost the taxpayers a FORTUNE in my state alone […]
